One thing I love about the Warwick house is the finished product. This house really allowed Tamara’s design skills to shine. With tons of small rooms making up the majority of the house, it didn’t allow for the “open concept” feel. Opening up the small rooms, replacing and enlarging the kitchen, while still preserving old unique features in the house really made this project special.
KITCHEN
One of the first major things we changed about this house was the kitchen.
LIVING ROOM
Another cut off, small room. Opening up this room will make guests eyes draw to the well-preserved fireplace. Also, check out the original doors, how cool are those?
ENTRYWAY
How great is this entryway? The exposed brick and high ceilings allow for so much character in this home (those green walls had to go)!
LAUNDRY ROOM
We moved the laundry room to the second floor in order to make the most out of the first floor space.
BATHROOMS
The bathrooms were rundown. We gutted and added new appliances.
BEDROOMS
We upgraded the bedroom with paint and fresh carpet.
Tamara opening up a wall to make the enlarged kitchen (I taught her everything she knows!).
Whoops! Sorry, Tamara!
Check back later this week to see the total transformation of the Warwick house!
